This week's strip features an old favorite who doesn't get nearly as much cartoon time as he probably deserves! Those who don't personally know Steve might be interested to learn that he was actually one of the very first characters to grace the Ink, Paint & Tears... canvas, aside from The Muffin, of course. This manic-depressive, talking grasshopper made his comic debut in the ironically titled strip, The Grasshopper, way back in 2002 and these days makes guest appearances here and there pretty much whenever Lori gets tired of drawing actual people. Nonetheless, fans of the articulate arthropod will be delighted to hear that Steve has been scheduled for a variety of perspective-type comics throughout 2006, the first of which being the weekly strip that we've prepared for you here today.
