I work for a fairly well-known fast-food chain and today, this guy paid for a $5.30 meal with a one-hundred dollar bill, along with thirty cents. How crazy is that? That rule (No bills larger than $20) should be effective at all fast-food joints. This way, cashiers who have only been on the clock for ten minutes won't be stranded, since there's less than $50 in the till to begin with. In other words, it took a lot longer than it should have to give that guy back his $95.00 in change.
You wouldn't believe the number of parents who make their child drink Diet Coke. I hate Diet anything. I brought this up to a guy at work and he replied with, "What if the kid has diabetes?" Okay, so he has a point. Even still, that's a lot of children who have diabetes, so there! |
