Best. Joke. Ever.
Seriously, this has got to me one of my absolute favorite jokes of all time, to the point where I really couldn't believe that it hadn't gotten used already when I sat down to write up scripts last month. I probably first heard this joke when I was, like, eight or something and I still have problems telling it to others with a straight face. If anything, you can't say that I don't entertain myself...
Anyways, today's strip also welcomes back a previously absent Sean, who somehow seemed to have gotten "misplaced" after that slew of Irish jokes that he concocted around St. Patrick's Day. Granted, we do our best to keep the cast as balanced as possible so you get a chance to see a little bit of everyone, but you've probably noticed that said is still continuing to grow little by little as we add new characters to fill special roles here and there. Of course, if you do happen to have a particular character that you'd like to see more of than others, feel free to drop us a line and we'd be happy to take your suggestions into consideration! While we might not be able to write a dozen strips all starring The Muffin, we can work a little harder to fit Steve or Brandi into the general rotation if that's something that you might want to see. Remember, the worst we can say is, "What are you, nuts?! That would never work..."
Just kidding.
Next week, believe it or not, will be our first June strip ever and although we might not necessarily be as geared up as you might hope to celebrate National Accordion Awareness Month in full swing, we'll do what we can to make it an enjoyable summer whenever you stop by to visit. Just bring plenty of sunscreen because Brandi has a tendency to eat the stuff when you're not looking. I know, I know - it sounds gross, but apparently she assumes that just because it smells like coconut, it should taste like coconut, too. Me thinks we need to start paying that dog a little more so she can afford some food of her own!
Until next time, get out there and enjoy the sunshine!
