Ahhh yes, if more famous words have ever been written about that crazy little thing called love when "bad boys" are concerned, I'd like to hear 'em! It's a tragic story, really, and I'm sure that you all at home sit there each and every week after reading the latest episode of Ink, Paint & Tears..., wishing that Kellie would find herself a decent guy and settle down, but even in the land of make-believe, just like a good drink, a good man is hard to find! Stay tuned next week when Steve will drop by to vouch for the drink part...
So it's spring - officially, this time - and after some extensive thinking, we've decided to dub spring the official Tell Everyone You Know About Ink, Paint & Tears... season because, well, our egos depend on the kind of rush that can only be provided by a steadily-increasing volume of readership and it seems like we've kind of struck some sort of plateau over the last month or two. We know that there are plenty of folks out there who like our strip, but we'd like to see it go to the next level...and possibly even the level above that, and that's where YOU can help! Whether it's by cohersing your friends and neighbors to sign up for The Weekly Muffin, add us to your friends list on MySpace, or even print out one of our classics to hang up on the door in your dorm (we suggest this one, for starters), the best kind of promotion is word of mouth...because we don't have to pay for it...so help out your favorite comic today and spread the good word!
Of course, you could also show your everlasting support by picking up a copy of the Ink, Paint & Tears... 2006 Wall Calendar - there are still tons of months left for you to enjoy this great display featuring never-before-seen strips that you won't find online anywhere! Sure to be a collector's item when L7 Comix becomes rich and famous, you definitely want to get your hands on a copy now for posterity alone, not to mention investment purposes. We can't guarantee that it'll necessarily go up in value, but really, what's guaranteed these days, anyways?
