Actually, that's also the punchline to another joke that I have somewhat of a fondness for, but due to length constrictions (I think that strip would end up being about fourteen panels long!), we went for this one instead. Well, that and we've just been itching to get back to the office-related strips, too!
If we put out a book or something of nothing but office strips, completely unrelated to Dilbert, do you think that would go over well? Lori and I really want to do a book sometime soon, so send us your thoughts on just what you might be willing to slam down your hard-earned benjamins to see...
A hope that everyone is having a fantastic Friday, not only for alliterative purposes, but also just because I'm in a really great mood myself right now! If you happen to live in Indonesia, today you're celebrating Kartini Day in honor of the birth of women's rights activist Raden Ajeng Kartini and all that she's done for the emancipation of the fairer sex in Indonesia, so enjoy that for all that it's worth ... maybe next year we'll try to squeeze in a good women's rights comic just for you. Tomorrow is Earth Day and that's always a hoot for those of us who prefer not to pollute...and that's about as far as my calendar is going to show me as far as the fun holidays are concerned for now! Nonetheless, that should be plenty to ensure that Google will send us some really interesting search results the next time we get indexed, so if I've done that and supported women's lib in the same news post, then I think I'm doing ok!
