Don't worry - we didn't forget about y'all!

It's another Barely Anything Left in the Weekend version of The Weekly Muffin, but hopefully you'll agree that this particular episode was well worth the wait because Lori and I are nearly in agreeance that this is one of our best strips to date. And mind you, we're not necessarily saying that from the perspective of our latest work always being the best, although even comparing something that we put together back in September of last year to our more recent strip shows quite a lot of evolution in those nine months. Personally, my all-time favorite strip, as far as presentation has always been Don't Pee in the Pool! because the colors came together really nicely in that one and I really like the level of detail on it, but for some reason, I think today's strip might just end up displacing 'the Pool, or at least moving it down a notch in my Top Ten.

So speaking of comparisons like that, I should note that it won't be too much longer before you'll be able to make critical judgements of your very own about Ink, Paint & Tears... without ever going near your computer...that is, as long as you're willing to pony up about twenty bucks or so in exchange. That's right, L7 Comix is officially working on putting together our very first book for Ink, Paint & Tears... featuring a collection of all of our strips dating back to Day 1 - that means not only will you get Talking Muffins, the strip that started it all back in 2002, but you'll also receive such classic gems as Talking Muffins: Take 2 and Talking Muffins 3: Stop Yelling at Me - I'm Sitting Right Next to You! We'll try to fit a couple other strips that aren't necessarily muffin-related in there for you as well, space permitting, of course!

But I'm actually mentioning this little tid-bit so early because we're hoping to get a little feedback from you with regards to what you, the reader, might actually want to see in such a brilliant compilation. Of course, the majority of the pages will be reserved for the comics themselves, but we will have a little extra space most likely and would like your input as to just what you might be interested in seeing on those pages. Sketches that never quite made it to comic form? In-depth bios of some of your favorite characters?? The official L7 ever-so-famous muffin recipe??? Let us know what peaks your fancy and we'll certainly see what we can come up with...

Enjoy the begining of your week - we'll be back here in roughly 5-7 days to do it all over again. Ciao...
