Yep - I remember that day like it was yesterday...because it was yesterday...
Interestingly enough, this week's strip actually comes to us accompanied with our very first piece of fan art ever! Very exciting, indeed, and just as soon as we can get a section created on the site for it, we'd just love to share it with you. The piece in question was a lovely, little sketch by a young man named Ray from Gaylord, Michigan and as you'll soon find out, he might just have a little cartooning in his future as well! Thanks for the artwork, Ray - we'll be sure to send you something neat real soon...
And of course, that same offer extends to anyone else out there who would like to send us their interpretations of their favorite Ink, Paint & Tears... characters! Whether you're a fan of Steve or even The Muffin himself, we'd like to see what you can do and we're more than willing to reward those efforts as well - although we're not quite sure with what just yet, I'm sure we can figure something out. So send us anything from a brief sketch on a cocktail napkin to full-blown artwork that might very well even rival our own ... let's see what you've got out there!
We'll speak again next Friday-ish - approximately three days after the 4th of July and the day before the ever-popular Talkeetna Moose Dropping Festival in Talkeetna, Alaska. I know, I know - I can hardly wait either...
